Bernard Slegten is a lawyer by training. He returned to architecture, his first love, having worked as an international lawyer and run an engineering office with subsidiaries throughout the world.
Oliver Toegemann is a German who studied history and politics in England, and worked in public affairs before founding Slegten & Toegemann in 1989.
Slegten & Toegemann started as a product design company but its clientele entrusted it with increasingly wide ranging projects, particularly architectural and interior design work. This has now become its main activity.
The team has been completed so as to be able to take on projects involving building permits, and resolving intricate technical and logistical issues such as the renovation of listed buildings.
